Filter element with activated carbon - the activated carbon will be saturated with glycol over time and this element needs to be replaced periodically.

Depending on use, every 2 to 4 months. Please note: failure to replace the filters will result in moisture leaking onto the electrical components in the housing, causing irreparable damage to the device. We recommend replacing the paper/HEPA filter at the same time as the box.
