Universal, polyester based hot melt glue .
A big advantage of this hot melt glue is the anti-bleeding feature. This hot melt powder combats the dye migration from the garment into the DTF transfer.
The melting temperature of this glue is relatively low as a result of which pressing 7 seconds at 140°C is sufficient.
The fastness of the hot melt powder is good (up to 60°C)
The general rule is that higher pressing temperature and longer pressing duration increase the risk of dye migration. Low temperature and short pressing time is therefore better.
A 100% solution against dye migration does not exist. Mainly certain soft shell garments are very difficult in this respect. Washing the garments before applying the transfers would be a good idea but it seems nobody is willing to take that extra step!
Compared to polyurethane hot melt systems, the polyester based hot melts are less elastic and less flexible. Keep this in mind when choosing the matching glue powder for the job!
