Replacement powder unit for AGA DTF XP Premium Combo printer

 The original units from China (Aiifar, Sublistar and other brands) show several problems:

1)      Hot melt powder is leaking from the bin even when the machine is not running.

2)      The bearings used are an open type and mounted in such a way that hot melt glue enters the bearings, causing the bearings to malfunction.

3)      The stepping motor is underpowered.

4)      The gears are made of laser cut thin steel plate material and are not sturdy.

Typically, after only a few weeks of use the machine makes strange and disturbing noises and within a short time it stops working altogether.

The replacement unit has been redesigned to overcome the above-mentioned issues.

1)      A brush system is used for powder dosing.

2)      Proper ball bearings are used for the rotating shaft.

3)      A high-quality stepper motor is used.

4)      Instead of rickety gears, a rubber drive belt is used to transfer the power from the motor to the axle.
